The beauty of Laurel Ridge Plantation is unquestioned and makes it a great canvas on which to paint your perfect storybook wedding.

The Orchard House venue is in the eastern section of the plantation and is centered on the Orchard House itself. The wedding tent site is on the same level as the main level of the house and the reception tent area is on the ground floor level in front of the house. The Orchard House sits on a rise at 1360 feet above sea level and has abundant porches and common areas and features 5 bedrooms. The sloping pastures to the east overlooking the pond merge in the distance with a view of Blackjack Mountain just across the line in Georgia. The Delaware Barn and Pasture highlight the southern view and Black Mountain is seen through the pines to the west.

 

A Solid Foundation

Laurel Ridge Plantation provides a solid foundation of for your special day. The Orchard House is provided for the Bridal Party the night before and the day of the wedding while the Groom and his entourage assemble at the Manor House or the Lodge and can spend the day before the wedding with skeet shooting and quail hunting and the evening as a bachelor party if desired. Photography sites, parking, restroom facilities and electricity and utilities are provided to support all rehearsal and wedding related activities.

Our great venue site and solid foundation of the Orchard House create the canvas on which to paint your perfect wedding with the caterers, photographers, florists, musicians and tent and seating providers at the direction of you and your wedding planner or coordinator.
