The Hunt

All hunts include a rustic pre-hunt meal. You will be walking in challenging terrain, so please dress accordingly. For a full-day hunt, a catered meal, bonfire and a choice of fine cigars will be provided to end your day. Each hunt will begin with a safety review and a warm-up on the clays course. Each hunt will consist of 3-4 hunters directed by a guide, hunting over a brace of dogs matched to the size of your party and the terrain.  The terrain is diverse, ranging from traditional pine savanna, to steep highland meadow, to open clear-cuts. Hunters are transported to the field in Polaris Rangers. Our experienced guides will pace the hunt according to your preference, allowing for periodic breaks to rest and refresh both hunters and dogs. At the end of each hunt each hunter will be presented with his or her cleaned and dressed quail in a soft-sided cooler. All hunters are covered by a Hunting Preserve License. Group rain checks will be provided for non-huntable conditions.
